We warmly congratulate Unilever on the completion of the Unilever Global Foods Innovation Centre in Wageningen! It marks a great moment in the life of this new state-of-the-art research facility for healthy and sustainable food production, which received two BREAAM awards earlier this year. The energy-neutral facility, on Wageningen University campus, consists of a pilot plant, a food and customer experience area, and two floors of offices and laboratories.
Paul de Ruiter Architects designed the facility, and, in the words of a Unilever spokesperson, have created “an inspiring, sustainable and practical building that facilitates innovative methods of collaboration”.
We wish Unilever every success in its preparations for the move to the facility and look forward to the official opening in December.
