At the beginning of 2024, I completed my Architecture studies at Eindhoven University of Technology. To complement the theoretical knowledge from my studies with hands-on experience, I took part in various practical initiatives in the field of sustainable construction over the years. One of the most valuable experiences was participating in the Solar Decathlon Europe 2021 with Team VIRTUe. During that project, I was introduced to Paul de Ruiter Architects, who were involved as advisors. What excites me most about working here is the combination of thinking and doing. For example, I’m currently conducting research into the role of European legislation in sustainable building practices—and I’m able to immediately apply that knowledge in ongoing projects.
