Aron den Otter

Aron completed his architecture studies at Eindhoven University of Technology at the beginning of 2024. To strengthen the theoretical knowledge from his studies with practical experience, he joined various initiatives in the field of sustainable building over the years. One of the most valuable experiences was his participation with Team VIRTUe at the Solar Decathlon Europe 2021. During this project, he became acquainted with Paul de Ruiter Architects, who were involved as advisors.

What excites Aron most about his work here, is the combination of thinking and doing: "Paul de Ruiter Architects learns during projects by pioneering across the entire spectrum of sustainability, from biobased materials to efficient and innovative climate concepts, while also leaving room alongside the projects to reflect on the bigger picture. For instance, I am currently working on research to explore the role of European legislation in sustainable building practices, and I can immediately apply that knowledge to ongoing projects."
