Architectural Designer
'Looking beyond pure aesthetics, critically following developments in the architectural climate, and thinking about how to cleverly respond to the future — that drives me as a designer.'

Since I was a child, I was always drawing buildings, something that—thanks in part to an impressive collection of architecture books and Copic markers from my grandfather—developed into my ambition to build a career in architecture. After completing my Bachelor’s degree at the HvA, I pursued a Master’s in Architecture at TU Delft. I want to look beyond aesthetics, critically follow developments in today’s architectural climate, and think about how to respond cleverly to the future. This ultimately brought me to Paul de Ruiter Architects. The firm attracts a wide range of ambitious projects due to its pioneering approach, and I’m very much inspired by the diversity within. For example, I am currently working on the transformation of an old factory — a project where sustainability, innovation, and creativity come together beautifully.
