I graduated in Architecture at TU Delft within the Heritage & Architecture graduation studio and worked as a student assistant for the Architectural Engineering department. In my graduation project, I researched urban ecology. Urban ecology is based on the idea that the urban environment—and even buildings themselves—can and should contribute to supporting ecosystems and biodiversity. Besides ecological benefits, this also has a positive impact on the well-being of people living in cities. The vision of Paul de Ruiter Architects aligns perfectly with this. Both the team and the building we work in radiate a shared commitment to improving the world—and in that, I feel completely at home.
