Toulin Al Halabi

Toulin is interning with us as part of her Bachelor's in Architecture at TU Delft. Her fascination with architecture began in high school, where she discovered her passion for design. 'We had a subject where we had to design and improve something, like an intersection. I went all out with modeling and realized how much I wanted to continue with this.'

At Paul de Ruiter Architects, Toulin is using her curiosity and technical insight to develop further. 'Sustainability plays a major role in my studies, and I see this strongly reflected here. What appeals to me most is how architecture is approached not only aesthetically but also with a strong focus on the environment and functionality.' 

She is using her internship to learn as much as possible, not just about design, but also about building technology and sustainability. 'I really want to make the most of my time here. Maybe it will help me get a clearer idea of what I want to focus on in my master's. For now, I am mainly focused on discovering and learning, and that feels just right.'
