Look around you… There's so much stone in the city! What would it be like if we didn't live in a city or village, but high up in the trees? Are you between 8 and 12 years old? Looking for a splashing experience? Put on your hard hat and come to Archikidz Haarlem on Saturday afternoon, October 11th!
What would a tree house look like? Imagine… a treehouse with a 100-meter slide, a shark pool, a library with talking books, or an upside-down pancake restaurant? This year, we're building the craziest treehouse ever – entirely based on your ideas. The higher, the crazier, the better! There are no rules. Anything goes. As long as it's incredibly creative! Archikidz is a fantastic afternoon to explore architecture in an interactive way. Under the guidance of a real architect, you'll design and build your own treehouse together with about 100 other children at a unique location: Pavilion de Mug at Nova College in Haarlem.
This workshop is all about learning, collaborating, and exploring architecture. At the end of the afternoon, the young designers will exhibit their creations, and a professional jury will come by to celebrate them. Interested? For more information and inspiration, visit the Archikidz website.
