Join architect Martijn van Gameren (Paul de Ruiter Architects) on a journey during the Day and Night of Architecture. During this special edition of Rotterdam Architecture Month, you'll discover the sustainable and energy-neutral residential complex Lloyd Yard, a design development by Paul de Ruiter Architects, WE architects, and ZUS.
During the Day and Night of Architecture, OMI Rotterdam is organizing a series of special tours, including an exclusive tour of Lloyd Yard. Architect Martijn van Gameren will take visitors on a journey through the stories behind the design of this future-proof residential complex, with an MPG of 0.65 and an EPC of 0.0. Lloyd Yard is a joint design development by Paul de Ruiter Architects, WE architects, and ZUS [Zones Urbaines Sensibles], focusing on sustainability, quality of life, and urban renewal. The tour concludes on the iconic swing in the Maasvenster—offering spectacular views of the Maas River—where visitors can enjoy a musical performance by the clarinet and cello duo Grounds (Oriol Marès and Lluïsa Paredes).
