Marina van Goor

Interior Designer
'At Paul de Ruiter Architects, form and function are treated as equals. One never outweighs the other. There is immense beauty in form and real quality in functionality.'

After a career as a legal professional, I decided to make a switch to the world of interior and design. I went on to study at the Gerrit Rietveld Academy and ran my own design studio, working on a project basis with various clients. In addition, I taught at the Willem de Kooning Academy and the Artemis Academy. Since 2019, I have been working as an interior designer at Paul de Ruiter Architects. Within the firm, I focus on sustainable interior design, with people’s happiness and health at the heart of everything I create. Connecting with nature, using soft and hard natural materials, aesthetic design, and a well-considered use of color are the guiding principles I apply to create meaningful and healthy working and living environments.
