'I believe in problem-solving thinking in relation to sustainability. The sometimes complex technology of a project does not have to detract from the design.'

I obtained my Bachelor’s degree in Building Engineering at HvA, specializing in Architecture. Previously, I worked among others at Team V Architectuur. There, I contributed to the renovation of the main building of TU Eindhoven, which in 2016 received an International BREEAM Outstanding Award for Education and Healthcare. At Paul de Ruiter Architects, I specialize in BIM processes: a virtual way of designing and building where different disciplines in the construction sector collaborate integrally within a 3D model. This ensures that all parties involved can coordinate as efficiently as possible. For me, Paul de Ruiter Architects is a place where I can use my knowledge of BIM and the related software Revit to support a young and enthusiastic team in their vision on sustainability and innovation. Important topics now and even more so in the future. I do this by creating visualizations and studies during the design process, preferably at an early stage. Collaborating with the architects in this way makes it possible to make their ideas visible and to ensure the quality of the designs.
